Description
This is a fairly minimalist pendant but the piece of labradorite is anything but plain. It has the color flash you expect from many angles, not just from the side. It was a little hard to photograph accurately but these images do a good job offering an accurate representation.
The stone has a medium-grey background and the color flash is primarily light blue, sometimes deep, rich blue, with just a touch of gold hue now and then. It is a square-ish stone, but without the harsh corners. It sit atop a sterling silver background that is textured with a matte-like finish. The chain slides through the back of the pendant which makes it look like it is floating on the chain, not dropping from it. While there are loops on the back, the pendant does not lean forward excessively and sits properly on the neckline.
The labradorite stone measures about 3/4″ x 5/8″
The entire pendant measures about 1″ x 3/4″
