BEAD-EMBROIDERED CUFF BRACELET
This two part workshop will guide you through all the steps (including tips & tricks!) to make a gorgeous bead-embroidered cuff bracelet. In the first session, we will learn how to plan, design, measure and lay out our bracelet. Choices of bead shapes, sizes and colors will also be covered. Then we will “set” at least one stone with peyote stitch. The end of the class will involve learning and practicing various bead embroidery stitches. You’ll have two weeks to work at home before you finish the cuff in the second session. During the second class, we will address any issues that came up during the two-week break. Then we will cut, size, and attach our beadwork to a brass bracelet form. Then we will learn an edging stitch to finish the cuff.
Level: Intermediate Beadweaving
